Before Armstrong Siddeley closed for business in 1961 my father bought this car and spent his usual on it, fitting a limousine boot, sunshine roof and other detail modifications. This photograph of the car was taken in 1968. The car was sold to customers in Skye in 1963, however in 1967 we bought it back from them and continued to use it for the next couple of years until it was sold to the secretary of the Armstrong Owners club.

I have recently- early 2006- found the car and it is completely restored and I now have a commitment from the present owner that he will offer it to me if he decides to sell.
