This was a beautiful Jaguar 3.8 Mk II finished in Gunmetal Metallic with Red Leather interior and "the" car to have in the early 60s. This belonged to Friend Bill Black and my claim to fame is how, when we were at the Black's one Sunday, young George drove my brother and I round to Merchiston Mews where the Ecurie Ecosse Team were based and Jim clark chatted wih George. "Hello boys" said Jim to us and I have never forgotten that moment.
