Bobby was also distributor for ""Speedwell"" tuning conversions and had a run of interesting cars including his wife Lyn's Lotus Cortina LYN 246 and of course his 1966 Jaguar E-Type.
His demonstration Speedwell 1100cc Mini had a truly wicked sound and as boys my brother and I would ""hold silence"" when it passed!" |
