| | This rather grainy photograph was recently given to me by Colin Jewers of Newcastle. Colin bought this special bodied Daimler from the estate of the late John Brown of Mayfield in Edinburgh around 1985.
The car was reputedly one of two cars built for Princess Margaret who didn't ever take delivery and John Brown bought this car second hand in the late 1950s.
As boys a short run in this 'old lady' was always disappointing! It had no style to it and was a real sluggard. |
