| | | Here is my father as a 22 year-old in 1938 in his beloved MG. Does anyone know exactly what model this is or where this photograph in Edinburgh was taken? I remember him telling me how his father ridiculed him for fitting a windscreen washer kit! Note the fold down windscreen and the 'Brooklands' style Fly Screen and I see the car is fitted with a door mirror - slightly unusual in those days but more than essential nowadays. |
